It is almost impossible to get tickets to the West End hit, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Fans of the JK Rowling franchise have been clamoring for tickets, but the show is said to be sold-out until 2018!

But great news for Potterheads everywhere! According to Pottermore.com, producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callendar are in talks to open on Broadway’s Lyric Theatre in the spring of 2018.

The theater will be “…completely remodeled and reconfigured from a 1,900 seat theatre into a more intimate 1,500 seat auditorium to accommodate the dramatic look and feel of Cursed Child.”

The show, written by Jack Thorne and directed by John Tiffany, is based on a story that JK Rowling wrote herself. It’s a two-part show that picks up from when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows left off.

The West End production stars Jamie Parker as Harry Potter, Noma Dumezweni as Hermione Granger, Paul Thornley as Ron Weasley, Alex Price as Draco Malfoy, Poppy Miller as Hermione Granger, Sam Clemmett as Albus Severus Potter, and Anthony Boyle as Scorpius Malfoy.
