‘One More Chance, the Musical’ Auditions Announced
Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) has announced a casting call for its upcoming 2024 jukebox musical, “One More Chance The Musical.” As previously reported, this production will feature the music of Ben&Ben, the popular Filipino nine-piece band.
Starting Monday, November 20, 2024, hopefuls can send their applications for auditions to fill the roles of Popoy, Basha, the Thursday Barkada, and various ensemble characters from the cult-classic movie, “One More Chance.”
Those interested are required to submit a video showcasing their talents. Applicants must perform 16 bars, equivalent to one stanza and one chorus, of any song by Ben&Ben or another Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artist. Additionally, they should include a choreographed piece spanning four bars set to any contemporary modern music. The deadline for casting submissions is set for November 26 at 11:59 PM. Following the initial review of applications, live auditions are scheduled to take place at the PETA Theater Center from December 4-5.
