We don’t know about you but we’ve been counting down the days until this musical masterpiece comes to the big screen this November!
Changing Partners started as a staged-reading at the 2016 Virgin Labfest and was transferred and staged as a full stage musical at the PETA Theater Center for a limited run later in the year. The book, music, and lyrics were written by Vincent de Jesus and the musical was directed by Rem Zamora.
The film, which is a part of the Cinema One Originals Film Festival, is directed by Dan Villegas and opens on November 14. It retains the cast of its staged version– Agot Isidro, Jojit Lorenzo, Anna Luna, and Sandino Martin, and is directed by Dan Villegas.
Changing Partners is a torch musical that explores the alchemy of relationships and questions the nature of fidelity and the complex issues partners face regardless of gender. You can watch the full trailer below!
