WATCH: VLF Play “Ang Huling Hiling ni Darling” is Now Streaming Online
The Virgin Labfest’s (VLF) Ang Huling Hiling ni Darling is now streaming on CCP’s YouTube channel!
After Abet’s wife fell into a sudden coma, he calls on his mother-in-law and sister-in-law to bid her goodbye. Much to the chagrin of Abet, his overbearing mother-in-law refuses to let her daughter go and insists that she’s fighting for a reason. The sister-in-law then reveals to Abet that she and his wife made an agreement that their mother will live with them, an agreement that he only learned on that fateful day.
Written by Raymund Barcelon, the play was staged at last year’s VLF, featuring Renante Bustamante as Abet, Sherry Lara as Mama, Skyzx Labastilla as Susan, Chase Salazar as Oryang, Kenjie Villacorte as Doktor, and Liway Gabo as Nurse. It is directed by Ricardo Magno.
Just like the other shows in CCP Online’s line-up, Ang Huling Hiling ni Darling will only be available for one week. Other VLF plays that have also been streamed on the channel include Carlo Vergara’s Kung Paano Ako Naging Leading Lady, Juan Miguel Severo’s Hintayan ng Langit, Aizel Cabilan’s Pagsubli, Dustin Celestino’s Mga Eksena sa Buhay ng Kontrabida, Anthony Kim Vergara’s A Family Reunion, and Rolin Migyuel Obina’s Ang Pag-uulyanin ni Olivia Mendoza.
This year’s VLF, dubbed VLF 2020 Kapit: Lab in the Time of Covid, will be going online from June 10 to 28.
CCP Online brings HD and archival recordings in theater, dance, visual arts, film, literary, and workshop events from CCP’s Cultural Content Digital Archives to audiences online.
