Up Close with Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante and Katie Bradshaw
Last March 4, we dropped by the rehearsals of ATEG’s Fun Home and had a chat with the talented Bradshaw sisters. Mikki Bradshaw-Volante and Katie Bradshaw play Middle Alison [Bechdel] and Little Alison [Bechdel] respectively. Alison grapples with growing up in a dysfunctional family while she comes to terms with her sexuality.
Mikkie and Katie are joined on stage by Tony-award winner Lea Salonga (Helen Bechdel), Eric Kunze (Bruce Bechdel), Cris Villonco (Alison Bechdel), Laurence Mossman (Roy/ Pete/ Mark), Yanah Laurel (Joan), Daniel Drilon (Christian Bechdel), Noel Comia Jr. (John Bechdel), Andee Achacoso (who alternates with Katie), Teddy Velasco (alternates as Christian Bechdel), and Albert Silos (alternates as John Bechdel).
