“Ang Larawan” finally gets its Philippine premiere date!

After debuting at the Tokyo International Film Festival last month, the musical film based on National Artist for Literature Nick Joaquin’s work “The Portrait of the Artist as Filipino” will finally be screened in the Philippines.

The film will be part of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) after being selected during its second round of screening based on final film submissions.

Directed by Loy Arcenas, it stars Rachel Alejandro, Joana Ampil, Menchu Lauchenco-Yulo, Celeste Legaspi, Paolo Avelino, Sandino Martin, Cris Villonco, Nonie Buencamino, and more.

The Metro Manila Film Festival will premiere on December 25.
