‘The Last Five Years’ Announces Final Extension
The Barefoot Theatre Collaborative’s (BTC) staging of The Last Five Years, whose extended run was supposed to close tonight, has just announced that it will be extending for one final weekend.
During tonight’s curtain call, Gab Pangilinan said that the show will be running for 5 more shows on November 10-12 at the PowerMac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater.
The two-hander musical, starring Gab Pangilinan and Myke Salomon, is told in two intersecting timelines that explores the emotions experienced by aspiring actress Cathy and talented writer Jamie during their five-year relationship.
The Last Five Years is written and composed by Jason Robert Brown. This BTC staging is helmed by director Topper Fabregas. Also in the creative team are Rony Fortich (musical direction), Joey Mendoza (production design), Meliton Roxas Jr. (lighting design), and Delphine Buencamino (choreography).
The Last Five Years opened last September 29 at the PowerMac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater. The show runs for a little over 90 minutes with no intermission. Tickets are priced at P3,200 (Gold) and P2,700 (Silver), with only a little over 200 tickets per show. Tickets are available at Ticket2Me.
