‘The Last Five Years’ Announces Extended Run
The Barefoot Theatre Collaborative’s (BTC) staging of The Last Five Years, which was initially slated to run from September 29 to October 15, has just announced its show extension during tonight’s curtain call.
After a complete sold-out run (a total of 17 shows), The Last Five Years has been extended from October 20-22 and 27-29 at the Power Mac Center Spotlight.
Told in two intersecting timelines, the musical explores the emotions experienced by aspiring actress Cathy, played by Gab Pangilinan and talented writer Jamie, played by Myke Salomon, during their five-year relationship.
The Last Five Years is written and composed by Jason Robert Brown. The BTC staging is directed by Topper Fabregas, with musical direction by Rony Fortich, production design by Joey Mendoza, lighting design by Meliton Roxas Jr., and choreography by Delphine Buencamino.
The show runs for a little over 90 minutes with no intermission. Tickets are available through Ticket2Me. Tickets are priced at P3,200 (Gold) and P2,700 (Silver). There are only a little over 200 tickets per show.
