LISTEN: Two Audio Plays Now on Spotify
The Company of Actors in Streamlined Theatre (C.A.S.T.) has released two more audio plays on Spotify.
You can now listen to Horace Holley’s The Genius, a 17-minute, two-person play performed by Nelsito Gomez and Jaime del Mundo, and Arnold Bennett’s A Question of Sex, a 4-person comedy performed by Reb Atadero, Sarah Facuri, Cathy Azanza-Dy, and Jeremy Domingo.
This is preceded by the group’s performances of Ferenc Molnar’s A Matter of Husbands, played by Giannina Ocampo-Van Hoven and Pinky Amador, and Neith Boyce and Hutchins Hapgood’s Enemies, played by Jennifer Blair-Bianco and David Bianco.
All parties rehearsed and recorded through online platforms.
C.A.S.T. is composed of six professional actors– Nelsito Gomez, Sarah Facuri, Mako Alonso, Jill Peña, Maronne Cruz, and Reb Atadero, and one professional writer, Wanggo Gallaga. The group is known for regularly presenting a season of staged reading performances– four plays, staged once a week for four consecutive weeks, from January to February.
