13th Gawad Buhay Awards Winners — FULL LIST
Gawad Buhay, the country’s recognizing body for performing arts, just wrapped its 13th award ceremony at the PETA Theater Center, hosted by Topper Fabregas and Meann Espinosa.
The nominees and winners were chosen by an independent jury from the eligible list of shows produced by Philstage member companies. For this year’s awards, the following shows are eligible: PETA’s Under My Skin, Trumpets Inc.’s Joseph the Dreamer, Repertory Philippines’ Stage Kiss, Tanghalang Pilipino’s Batang Mujahideen, Black Box Productions’ Dekada ’70, Tanghalang Pilipino’s Anak Datu, Barefoot Theatre Collaborative’s Mula sa Buwan, and Repertory Philippines’ Carousel.
This year, Black Box Productions’ Dekada ’70 and Tanghalang Pilipino’s Anak Datu won the most awards with 6 wins each, followed by PETA’s Under My Skin with 5.
