The Virgin Labfest (VLF), which was initially slated from June 10 to 28, extends its online run, starting July 2 to 15 on Vimeo!

For two more weeks, audiences will have a chance to watch and experience the theater festival of untried, untested and unstaged plays on the virtual stage.

Nine out of the ten initial featured works, all five staged readings, and all three revisited plays will be extending their runs. Included in the featured works are Tyrone Casumpang’s BlackPink, Jay Crisostomo’s Dapithapon, Luisito Nario’s Gin Bilog, Norman Boquiren’s Mayang Bubot sa Tag-araw, Juliene Mendoza’s Multiverse, Daryl Pasion’s Papaano Turuan Ang Babae Humawak ng Baril, Floyd Scott Tiogangco’s Pilot Episode, Anthony Kim Vergara’s The Boyboy and Friends Channel, and Jobert Gray’s Titser Kit. Dustin Celestino’s Doggy has been pulled out of the festival.

Included in the staged readings are Nicko de Guzman’s Bagahe, Dingdong Novenario’s Dominador Gonzales, National Artist, Buch Dacanay’s Jenny Li, Bernice Dacara’s Matira Matibay, and Claro De Los Reyes’ Mongoloida’s Casa De Pun.

The revisited set includes Herlyn Alegre’s Fangirl, U Z Eliserio’s Anak Ka Ng, and Rick Patriarca’s Wanted: Male Boarders.

You can access all the extended plays by signing up through Vimeo for P100 (Regular Package). You can also access the plays with special features for P200 (Premium Package). With the assistance from Japan Foundation, all plays will have English subtitles.
