According to WhatsOnStage.comThe Royal Albert Hall 50th birthday concert tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber is the fifth production that will be streaming on the The Shows Must Go On YouTube channel!

The concert was staged in 1998, featuring performances from Sarah Brightman, Michael Ball, Glenn Close, Antonio Banderas, Boyzone, Donny Osmond, Elaine Paige, Tina Arena, Julian Lloyd Webber, Marcus Lovett, Lottie Mayor, Dennis O’Neill, Ray Shell, Kiri Te Kanawa, and Bonnie Tyler.

Artists who originated roles in Webber’s musicals– Sarah Brightman as The Phantom of the Opera‘s Christine Daaé in the West End, Close as Sunset Boulevard’s Nora Desmond on Broadway, Elaine Paige as Cats’ Grizabella in the West End, Antonio Banderas, who co-starred with Madonna as Ché in the 1996 Evita film, and Donny Osmond as Joseph in the Technicolor Dreamcoat’s Joseph in the 1999 film, all performed songs from their respective shows.

The online streaming of the concert is preceded by the 2000 production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, the 2012 production of Jesus Christ Superstar, the 2011 production of The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall, and the 2011 Australian production of Love Never Dies.

Just like the shows prior to it, The Royal Albert Hall concert will only be available for 48 hours, beginning on May 1, 7pm UK time (May 2, 2AM local Philippine time).
