“Mga Kuwento ni Lola Basyang” Musical to Stream Again

Mga Kuwento ni Lola Basyang, PETA’s musical about the children’s classic, will be streaming again from March 5-6, 2021 on ticket2me.net. The production also streamed on the company’s Facebook page last May.

The production to stream is the touring show in South Korea in 2015, featuring two of Lola Basyang’s classic tales written by Severino Reyes: Ang Prinsipeng Mahaba ang Ilong and Ang Binibining Tumalo sa Mahal na Datu, with cast members Gio Gahol, Joan Bugcat, Icee Po, Carlon Matobato, Paeng Sudayan, and Eun-suk Kim as Basyang. The script is written by Christine Bellen Ang.

It is directed by PETA’s Artistic Director Maribel Legarda, featuring music by Noel Cabangon.
