FIRST LOOK: Sa Wakas Farewell Run 2018
The much-awaited farewell run of Sa Wakas officially opens tonight!
The musical featuring the songs of popular rockband Sugarfree returns to the Power Mac Spotlight Theater in Circuit Makati and will run until May 27. The musical is co-written by director Andrei Pamintuan, Ina Abuan, and producer Charissa Pammit, with musical arrangement by Ejay Yatco. Set in contemporary Manila, the show raises the question of why relationships fall apart. At the center of the show is a love triangle featuring aspiring photographer Topper, ambitious neurosurgeon Lexi, and lifestyle magazine journalist Gabbi.
Reprising their roles are Pepe Herrera and Vic Robinson as Topper, Justine Peña and Maronne Cruz as Gabbi, and Cara Barredo as Lexi. Kyla Rivera-Soong, an original cast member who played Gabbi in the 2013 run, now returns as Lexi. Abi Sulit, Laui Guico, Moira Lozada, and Hans Dimayuga return to play the ensemble.
A new set has been designed by Ed Lacson Jr., with costumes by Jodinand Aguillon and lighting design by Miguel Panganiban.
