As previously reported, Atlantis Theatrical will be staging “Oliver!” and “On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan” in June and November respectively next year.

Today, the company announces open auditions for both productions this November! Auditions are open to singers and dancers 18 and up.

Auditions for singers are on November 8, 2019. Registration begins at 9am and closes at 3pm. Audition proper is from 10am-5pm at the Opera Haus (3657 Bautista Street, Makati City). Interested participants should bring their CV, recent headshot, and music sheet. They should also prepare to sing 16 to 24 bars from a song in keeping with the style of the musical they are auditioning for.

Auditions for dancers (for “On Your Feet!”) are on November 9, 2019 . Registration begins at 12nn and ends at 4:30pm. Audition proper is from 1-5pm also at the Opera Haus. Interested participants should also bring their CV and recent headshot. They are also expected to come in proper dance attire (no need to prepare a routine). Girls should wear a skirt and heeled shoes, while guys should wear dance shoes (no sneakers). Prepare to learn a dance combination on the day of the auditions.

“Oliver!” is a musical based on the novel “Oliver Twist” by Charles Dickens, with music and lyrics by Lionel Bart. It opened in the West End in 1960 and on Broadway in 1963, where it was nominated for 9 Tony Awards and won 3, including Best Original Score for Bart. “On Your Feet!” is a jukebox musical based on the lives and music of award-winning husband-and-wife team Gloria and Emilio Estefan. With a book by Alexander Dinelaris and a score built around the music of Gloria Estefan, the musical opened on Broadway on November 5, 2015 and was nominated for Best Choreography at the Tony Awards.
