It’s Thanksgiving in the US, and one of the holiday’s grand traditions in New York City is the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This year, the celebrations were back in full swing, with performances from different musical acts including Broadway’s biggest hits today.

“Ex-Wives/Six” from Six

The cast of Six, Adrianna Hicks, Andrea Macasaet, Abby Mueller, Brittney Mack, Samantha Pauly, and Anna Uzele performed a medley of the musical’s opening and closing numbers during the parade.

“One Short Day” from Wicked

The current Broadway cast of Wicked performed ‘One Short Day’ led by the current Elphaba, Jennifer DiNoia and Glinda, Ginna Claire Mason.

“The Sparkling Diamond” from Moulin Rouge!

Moulin Rouge! performed their hit medley of ‘Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend’ / ‘Single Ladies’ / ‘Material Girl’ featuring the Broadway cast starring Natalie Mendoza as Satine.

A medley from Annie Live!

The upcoming NBC live musical special, Annie, also performed featuring the upcoming cast: Celina Smith (Annie), Harry Connick Jr. (Daddy Warbucks), Taraji P. Henson (Miss Hannigan), Megan Hilty (Lily St. Regis), and Tituss Burgess (Rooster).
