The Reconciliation Dinner, Floy Quintos’ one-act play, directed by Dexter M. Santos, is coming to the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater of Circuit Makati.

The play was first staged by Dulaang UP for a limited run from November 18 to 20 last year. The same set of cast members, Frances Makil-Ignacio, Stella Cañete-Mendoza, Nelsito Gomez, Randy Villarama, Jojo Cayabyab, and Phi Palmos will be returning to play their roles together with new cast member Mica Pineda.

In May, the nation marks a full year since the life-changing elections of May 2022. In one year, we have seen our lives and convictions challenged and changed. A full year since the elections, what has changed? Masaya ba tayo sa nangyayari sa bansa ngayon?

These are the important questions that The Reconciliation Dinner asks. The one-act play traces the relationship of two dear friends, Dina Medina and Susan Valderama, and how their political choices affect their very lives and families.

The Reconciliation Dinner is produced by Stella Canete-Mendoza, Juliene Mendoza, and Floy Quintos, presented in cooperation with the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater.

The show will run from May 13 to 28 at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater. You can buy tickets from Ticket2Me.

Update, April 4, 2023, 8pm: Hariette Mozelle’s role will now be played by Mica Pineda due to schedule conflict.
