Star-Studded Miscast 2021 Gala to Stream
The Miscast Gala is back online. It is an annual event by MCC Theater starring Broadway stars performing songs from roles they wouldn’t be cast.
MCC Theater is an off-Broadway theater company aiming to challenge artists, audiences, and students to engage and produce provoking works that matter. The funds raised from Miscast helps MCC Theatre to continuously produce new work off-broadway alongside supporting its Youth Company and in-school partnerships.
This year’s Miscast Gala performers include Idina Menzel, Kelly Marie Tran, Annaleigh Ashford, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Patrick Wilson, Melissa Barrera, Leslie Grace, Cheyenne Jackson, Jai’Len Josey, LaChanze, Kelli O’Hara, Billy Porter, and Robin de Jesús. More performers will be announced at a later date.
