“Real-Life Fairytales” Musical to Stream for Free
Ateneo Blue Repertory is streaming one of their original productions tonight, July 29, starting 6:00 PM. First performed in 2016, “Real-Life Fairytales” is a series of six vignettes that ‘tread the line between fantasy and reality, as examined through the lens of the magical and unusual’.
Directed by Missy Maramara with musical direction Ejay Yatco (also composer), the show was written by Maramara, Gabbi Campomanes, Helene Enriquez, Robyn Jereza, and Steffi Escuadro. Choreography by Franco Ramos, set design by Anissa Aquila, and lighting design by Miyo Sta. Maria.
This stream features cast members Jeffrey Agustin, Nikki Cadiz, Marga Crisostomo, Tintin Dela Cruz, Helene Enriquez, Juancho Escoto, LJ Galvez, Monica Gamboa, AM Masucol, Justine Narciso, Raffy Nepomuceno, Rion Reyes, FM Sanchez, and RJ Santillan.

While viewers can watch the stream for free, they also have the option to make a donation through ticket purchase, with part of the proceeds going to Philstage’s Open House, a fundraiser for performance art workers affected by the pandemic.
You can watch the show from 6:00 PM, until 12:00 AM on July 30. Tickets will only be available until 9:59 PM on July 29. There will also be a talkback with the show’s artistic team on August 1 from 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM on Ateneo Blue Repertory’s Facebook page.
