PETA introduces Francis Magalona’s Musical 3 Stars and a Sun

The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) has enjoyed a fruitful 2015 featuring record-breaking comebacks and the re-imagining of literary classics. To aptly close a successful 48th Theater Season, PETA introduces a future Philippines in dystopian rap musical 3 Stars and a Sun, featuring the music of Pinoy rap legend, Francis Magalona.

The play is set decades into the future inside The Stormdome, a fallout shelter created to protect the entire archipelago from global warfare, and extreme weather. Two barkadas will clash inside The Stormdome: the kids from glossy and developed Lumino city, and the kids from the rough streets of Diliman city. Despite their varied backgrounds and upbringing, both groups must realize that there are larger problems inside The Stormdome than their petty gang issues.
