The West End’s Hetty Feather is the next filmed stage production to stream on The Shows Must Go On! YouTube channel.

Based on Jacqueline Wilson’s best-selling novel, the story follows Hetty, a feisty young orphan who embarks on an adventure to find her true home. Infused with live music and daring aerial feats, this new musical is written for the whole family.

The musical stars Phoebe Thomas in the titular role. Joining her are Matt Costain (Matron Bottomly/ Jem), Sarah Goddard (Peg/ Ida), Isaac Stanmore (Saul), Mark Kane (Gideon), and Nikki Warwick (Madame Adeline/ Eliza). They are accompanied by Luke Potter (Guitar, Drums, Vocals) and Seamas H Carey (Bass, Keys, Accordion).

It is adapted to the stage by Emma Reeves (who also serves as co-lyricist) and directed for the stage by Sally Cookson. Other members of the creative team include Katie Sykes (stage and costume design), Benji Bower (music and lyrics), Luke Potter (lyrics, associate musical direction, and additional composition), Seamas H Carey (lyrics and additional composition), Aideen Malone (lighting design), Leigh Davies (sound design), Gwen Hales (aerial direction), Matt Costain (associate direction), Jennie Falconer (costume supervision), and Louise Helps (assistant costume supervision). It is directed for the screen by Marcus Viner and produced by Austin Shaw.
