New Musical ‘Island Song’ to Stream
A new musical is streaming at the end of the month.
Island Song by Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, has been adapted by Artremix Productions, a new volunteer multimedia and theater organization based in Metro Manila. The show will be an online adaptation, directed by Nicodemus Varona.
Described as an ‘off-beat dramedy with a kinetic pop-rock score’, it narrates the lives, ambitions, and relationships of five New Yorkers as they share the city and connect through pivotal moments of their respective lives.
The cast is composed of Dippy Arceo, Sophia Meily, Jillian Ita-as, JV Fulgencio, and Joshua Valenzona.
The local online adaptation will stream twice: premiering on November 27, 2021, and another stream on December 4, 2021. To watch, audiences can simply acquire e-tickets via the www.artremixproductions.com website. The show is free to watch.
