‘Miss Saigon’ Manila 2024 Announces Extension
An extension of the run for Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of “Miss Saigon” at The Theatre at Solaire has been announced. Originally scheduled to close on April 21, 2024, the show will now grace the stage until May 5, 2024.
“Miss Saigon,” a musical by Claude-Michel Schönberg, features lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr. and Alain Boublil, adapted from Alain Boublil’s original French lyrics with additional contributions by Michael Mahler. This new production, directed by Laurence Connor and featuring musical staging by Bob Avian with extra choreography by Geoffrey Garratt, is set to captivate audiences with its visual and auditory storytelling.
The production’s creative team includes Totie Driver and Matt Kinley’s production design, based on an original concept by Adrian Vaux. Andreane Neofitou’s costume design, Bruno Poet’s lighting, Luke Halls’ projections, Mick Potter’s sound design, and musical orchestrations by William David Brohn, under the music supervision of Alfonso Casado Trigo and Guy Simpson round out the creative team.
