Mabining Mandirigma: A Steampunk Musical, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and marks Tanghalang Pilipino’s 39th season finale, has just announced its full cast.

As previously reported, Shaira Opsimar is set to play Apolinario Mabini, with Arman Ferrer and David Ezra alternating as Emilio Aguinaldo, and Tex Ordoñez-De Leon as Mabini’s mother, Dionisia. MC Dela Cruz and Roby Malubay will play the Ilustrados, alongside members of the Tanghalang Pilipino Actors Company—Marco Viaña, Jonathan Tadioan, Lhorvie Nuevo Tadioan, Mark Lorenz, Sarah Monay, Heart Puyong, Earvin Estioco, Gelo Molina, Rey Correjado, Ynna Rafa, Anya Evangelista, Sofia Sacaguing, and Murline Udin—as members of the ensemble.

The show is written by Nicanor Tiongson, with music by Joed Balsamo and direction by Chris Millado. Also on the creative team are Denisa Reyes and Richardson Yadao (choreography), Toym Imao (set design), James Reyes (costume design), TJ Ramos (sound and musical arrangement), GA Fallarme and JM Jimenez (projection), Roman Cruz (lighting), and Chino David and Emerzon Texon (co-arrangement), with Toni Go-Yadao as associate director and Daniel Gregorio as associate costume designer.

Promising a braver and more intimate staging, the steampunk musical follows the life of Apolinario Mabini. Through his intellect and principles, Mabini called on Filipinos to rise above class, region, and self-interest in order to build a nation.

Mabining Mandirigma was first staged in 2015, with Delphine Buencamino as Apolinario Mabini. The role was later taken on by Liesl Batucan in 2016 and Monique Wilson in 2019.

The show will run Fridays to Sundays, from March 6 to 29, 2026, at the Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez. Tickets are priced at P2,000 for VIP and P1,800 for regular seats, and are currently available through the company’s showbuyers. They will also be available via Ticketworld and Ticket2Me soon.
