Ben Platt to Guest Star on Will and Grace
The hit American sitcom Will and Grace is making its way back to the small screen! The show, which debuted in 1998 and ran for eight seasons until 2006, is making a comeback with its original stars Eric McCormack and Megan Mullally on NBC.
Joining the show’s other two stars and Broadway alums, Debra Messing and Sean Hayes, is Tony-winner Ben Platt, who took home the award for Best Actor in A Musical at this year’s Tony awards for his performance in Dear Evan Hansen.
Platt, who is also known for playing Benji Applebaum in the Pitch Perfect films, is now on a long list of celebrated guest stars for the show, which includes Neil Patrick Harris, Patti LuPone, and Harry Connick Jr., who will be returning to the show for the upcoming revival.
