We’re so happy that Manila has now been part of the series! International tour’s Fiyero, Bradley Jaden, and our very own Rak of Aegis star, Aicelle Santos, have covered their own rendition of the captivating love song, ‘As Long as You’re Mine.’

Out of Oz

The Out of Oz sessions have showcased past and present members of the Wicked Broadway cast who have sung different songs from the musical. Past performers have included Aaron Tveit singing ‘Popular’, Rachel Tucker and Kara Lindsay singing ‘I’m Not that Girl’, Aaron Tveit and Rachel Tucker singing ‘Defying Gravity‘, and the original leading ladies, and Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth singing ‘For Good’.

We got to talk to the two stars right before the session:

Bradley Jaden: “Creating these Out of Oz sessions is a really exciting opportunity especially for me because I get to sing with amazing talent every night but you know, to hear someone else’s interpretation is exciting.”

Bradley and Aicelle had only met earlier that week.

“People who know her won’t be surprised that her voice is incredible so I think today is gonna be a really fun morning and hopefully we can create something really special.”

Aicelle Santos had actually just seen Wicked for the first time a few days before the recording. How did she feel when she saw ‘As Long as You’re Mine’ come alive on stage?

Aicelle Santos: “’I was 105% attentive!”’ I thought, ‘Okay that’s our song! How will Elphaba sing it? Okay then I should sing it pretty much that way.’ (laughs)”
