“Laro” Extends for One Night Only
Floy Quintos’ “Laro“, with additional material by Miguel Castro, extends for one night only this June 30, 8pm at Arts Above!
The returning cast for the evening includes André Miguel (Call Boy), Paul Jake Paule (Pulis), Phi Palmos (Drag Queen), Gio Gahol (Manggagamit), MC Dela Cruz (Kalaguyo), Al Gatmaitan (the Ideal), Ross Pesigan (Estudyante), Vincent Pajara (Manunulat), Jay Gonzaga (Modelo), and Vincent A. DeJesus (Pilantropo).
The play is an adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler’s “La Ronde.” It tells the story of 10 characters from different walks of life, exploring their never-ending search for happiness and true love within Manila’s gay community.
Staged by Artist Playground, the show is directed by John Mark Yap, with movement design by Jm Cabling, set design by Io Balanon, costume design by Nicolo Perez, lighting design by Miggy Panganiban, sound design by Arvy Dimaculangan, and graphics design by Gian Nicdao.
