5 One-Act Love Stories to be Staged this May in ‘Kwentuhog: #PusoK’

Act Avenue will be staging its annual anthology production entitled Kwentuhog this May 20-21, 2pm and 6pm, at HHM Studio, Kapitolyo Pasig.

Now on its 3rd year, this year’s Kwentuhog, this time entitled Kwentuhog: #PusoK will feature 5 one-act love stories written by Filipino playwrights and directed by Act Avenue’s senior members. The production aims to explore and challenge the audience’s notions about love and how this can be an instrument for social transformation.

The one-act plays are Asawa Kabit, written by George De Jesus III and directed by Edjie Maglano; I’m Through with Love, written by Mariane Abigail Eugenio and directed by Xander Go; PagPag, written by Alex Baylon and directed by Adrian Reyes; Pugot, written by BJ Crisostomo and directed by Sheena Anne Villanueva; and Tatlong Tula Ni Vito at Lira, written by Rachel Gianan and directed by Fatima Monterona.
