‘Anastasia’ opened at the Broadhurst Theatre on Broadway last night, and here’s your first look! The cast is led by Christy Altomare as Anya, Derek Klena as Dmitry, and Ramin Karimloo as Gleb.

Rounding up this exciting news day is a double dose from Disney. Firstly, ‘Frozen 2’ now has a release date! The sequel to the massive hit movie is set to open in theaters on November 27, 2019. Josh Gad, who provides the voice of Olaf, shared the new on his Twitter account:

It’s going to be a busy year for Elsa, as the stage adaptation is also scheduled to open on Broadway next year.
Disney also announced the screening date for its Lion King live action reboot. Mark your calendars – Simba will be back in theaters on July 19, 2019! There’s also talk that casting for the Jon Favreau film is shaping up, with comedians Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen in negotiations to play Timon and Pumbaa, respectively. This means we’ll hear Eichner and Rogen singing our favorite ‘Hakuna Matata’.
