Rachel Ann Go, the West End Rerun’s Gigi, also announced the world premiere of the 25th Anniversary Performance of Miss Saigon.

The world premiere will happen on September 22 in the US, and will be screening in 187 theaters for only seven days. Australia and the UK will follow, with the 25th anniversary performance starting its showing on the 15th and 16th of October respectively.

We have surely come a long way since Cameron Mackintosh’s teaser about the movie in your mind becoming a reality.

From that time, we have found out that our very own Jon Jon Briones will be the Engineer in this recorded performance. The West End Revival’s Kim, Eva Noblezada and Gigi, Rachel Ann Go will also be seen in the 25th Anniversary Performance.

The special will also feature a finale that includes original cast members, like Lea Salonga, Simon Bowman and Jonathan Price.

Here is the trailer to the much-anticipated cinematic event.

Venues have yet to be announced. We will keep you posted on developments.
