WATCH: Lea Salonga Joins Hamilton’s Ham4Ham Lottery
We’ve talked about the Broadway hit Hamilton for a while now, and for good reason. In the past year alone, the show made its Broadway debut after only five months Off-Broadway, taken home the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical, and even won a Grammy.

Hamilton is, without a doubt, the fastest selling ticket on Broadway, and it’s nearly impossible to get tickets. To remedy this for a few lucky fans, Hamilton writer and creator Lin-Manuel Miranda (In The Heights) hosts Ham4Ham, a lottery that raffles off tickets. Unlike the usual show lottery, Lin-Manuel holds special mini-shows featuring members of the cast, and prominent Broadway stars.

On November 11 last year, Lin-Manuel excitedly introduced a star that we all know and love. The excitement caused him to grin from ear to ear as he brought out none other than Tony-winner Lea Salonga. Miranda whipped out some Tagalog and Lea surprised him with a piece from his past, much to his shock and the delight of the audience.
