The cast of Full House Theater Company’s Ang Huling El Bimbo is returning to the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila on December 10 for a live concert. This marks the first theatrical performance in Metro Manila with a live audience since theaters were forced to shut down in March 2020.

Full House Theater Company’s co-artistic director Michael Williams confirms that the concert will include principal cast members Gab Pangilinan, Tanya Manalang, Reb Atadero, Bibo Reyes, Phi Palmos, Vic Robinson, Gian Magdangal OJ Mariano, Carla Guevara Laforteza, and Sheila Francisco.

According to Williams, the concert will follow another narrative that will be drawn from the experiences of the cast from the show, such as things that went on backstage and their journey towards opening night.

Seating capacity is still to be determined based on new regulations, but only fully vaccinated audience members will be allowed entry. They must present a vaccination card and a government ID together with their ticket. They must also keep their masks on at all times.

The live event will also be accompanied by a virtual livestream, which means that audiences can watch the concert straight from their homes on ktx.ph while it’s happening. Ticket prices will be announced soon.

The concert will be directed by Jamie Wilson, assisted by Michael Williams, with musical arrangement by Myke Salomon performed by the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra. The script is co-written by Full House Theater Company’s co-Artistic Director Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo and Jamie Wilson, and choreography by Fritz Esase, with original choreography by Dexter M. Santos.
