FULL LIST of Tony Awards 2017 Winners: Dear Evan Hansen, and More!
It’s theater’s biggest night!
With star-studded presenters that included Josh Gad, Orlando Bloom, Uma Thurman, Sara Bareilles, Allison Janney, Stephen Colbert, Lin-Manuel Miranda, as well as Lea Salonga and Jon Jon Briones who presented the cast of “Miss Saigon”‘s performance of This is the Hour, it was an unforgettable night for attendees of the ceremony at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
“Dear Evan Hansen” won big (winning 6 awards out of 9 nominations) including Best Musical, Best Leading Actor in a Musical for Ben Platt, Best Musical Score for Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Rachel Bay Jones, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Orchestration. Other musicals that won multiple awards include “Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812” and “Hello, Dolly!”.
The Tony Awards were hosted by Kevin Spacey, it aired live on Lifestyle TV with a primetime telecast later at 9:30pm. The channel will air the ceremony again at these following schedules: June 14 at 6pm, June 16 at 12am, and June 17 at 9am.
