WATCH: ‘Walang Aray’ Musical Number with Leads Gio Gahol and Marynor Madamesila

Gio Gahol and Marynor Madamesila as Tenyong and Julia, together with ensemble cast members Kiki Baento, Yeyin De La Cruz, Ayla Garcia, Ada Tayao, Tom Bienvenida, Donn Boco, Gerard Dy, Jarred Jaicten, Carlon Matobato, and John Moran, perform the song Pangako ‘Yan from PETA’s upcoming musical, Walang Aray.

The performance was captured from the media launch held last November 28 at the PETA Theater Center. Pangako ‘Yan has also just been recently released on digital platforms, featuring KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad as Tenyong and Julia.

Walang Aray is a new musical that mashes the classic with contemporary language, funk and pop tunes, and tongue-in-cheek humor, based on Severino Reyes’ Walang Sugat. The music is composed by Vince Lim, with lyrics by Lim and Rody Vera (who also wrote the book). The show is directed by Ian Segarra, with choreography by Gio Gahol.
