WATCH: “Rak of Aegis” Cast Performs “Munting Pangarap” for Frontliners

PETA’s Rak of Aegis cast performs the song Munting Pangarap as a tribute to the country’s healthcare workers in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The company is asking for donations for the frontliners of East Avenue Medical Center who are in need of medical equipment such as personal protective equipment (PPE).

The virtual Zoom performance features cast members across Rak of Aegis’ 7 seasons– Aicelle Santos, Kim Molina, Shaira Opsimar, Kimberly Baluzo, Pepe Herrera, Jerald Napoles, Joshua Bulot, Benj Manalo, Kent Pontivedra, Myke Salomon, Poppert Bernadas, Remus Villanueva, Vince Lim, Sweet Plantado Tiongson, Isay Alvarez Seña, Bayang Barrios, Tricia Jimenez, Carla Guevara Laforteza, Shiela Valderrama-Martinez, Jimi Marquez, Phi Palmos, Adrian Lindayag, Lorenz Martinez, OJ Mariano, Robert Seña, Noel Cabangon, Renz Verano, Kakai Bautista, Neomi Gonzales, Joann Co, Leah Patricio, Rody Vera, Gold Villar Lim, Teetin Villanueva, Jet Barrun-Concepcion, Gab Pangilinan, Gimbey dela Cruz, Abi Sulit, Carlon Matobato, John Moran, Rafael Sudayan, Roi Calilong, Matel Patayon, Yumi Lacsamana, Ashe Uy, Gerard Dy, Marynor Madamesila, Welwel Silvestre, Crystal Paras, Chamyto Aguedan, and Raflessia Bravo, with special appearances by Cara Lim, Georgia Tiongson, Pepper Gonzales, and Rayden Dela Cruz.

Rak of Aegis tells the story of Aileen, a young girl with a big voice who dreams of becoming a YouTube sensation. As she tries her hand at fulfilling her dream, she also finds herself in the position of helping her barangay battle health hazards and livelihood conditions amidst unceasing flood water. Its most recent run closed on September 29, 2019.
