“The Lion King” Reveals 2019 Movie Soundtrack List

According to Collider, Walt Disney has just released the soundtrack list for the 2019 live-action remake of “The Lion King“.

Featuring 19 songs, the soundtrack includes the song “He Lives in You”, a song that is present in the Broadway musical adaptation. You can watch an excerpt of the song performed in the International Touring Production from the Manila run in 2018.

The album will feature new recordings of the original songs written by John and Rice, score by Hans Zimmer, and African vocal and choir arrangements by Lebo M. It also includes a new song written by Elton John and Tim Rice entitled “Never Too Late”, which is set to appear in the movie’s ending credits.

The soundtrack will drop digitally by July 11. Physical copies of the album will be available on July 19, the same day as the film’s release in local cinemas.
