Ricky Lee Holds Masterclasses this Cinemalaya
Screenwriter, novelist, journalist, and playwright Ricky Lee will conduct two masterclasses on storytelling entitled “Mga Tao at mga Tauhan”, on August 9 and 15 respectively.
Participants will learn how to unearth the truth through stories, find their unique voice, understand the value of thinking inside and outside the box, and write during the pandemic through Ricky Lee’s 11-story steps.

Ricky Lee has written more than 180 film screenplays since 1973, where he has won more than 70 awards in various award-giving bodies. For the stage, he has written the scripts for Himala: Isang Musikal, DH, Pitik-Bulag sa Buwan ng Pebrero, and has co-written the libretto for Binondo: A Tsinoy Musical.
