In Photos: Sa Wakas the Musical

Sa Wakas the Musical comes back with a vengeance at a new theater this 2017! Reprising their roles from the original 2013 run at the PETA Theater Center are Caisa Borromeo (Lexi), Vic Robinson (Topper), Justine Peña (Gabbi), and Abi Sulit and Hans Dimayuga as members of the ensemble. Alternating with them are Cara Barredo (Lexi), Pepe Herrera (Topper), and Maronne Cruz (Gabbi). Laui Guico and Moira Lozada are also members of the ensemble.

Sa Wakas is an original, contemporary musical based on the songs of popular rock bands, Sugarfree. The musical is co-written by Andrei Nikolai Pamintuan and Mariane Abuan, with the music beautifully arranged by Ejay Yatco. The show is created and produced by Charissa Pammit.

The show is told with an inverse chronology, wherein the story begins at the end of the crushing breakup and works its agonizing way backwards to the relationship’s starry-eyed beginning.
