The story of hit musical In the Heights is now in book form. Titled In the Heights: Finding Home, the musical’s makers Lin-Manuel Miranda, Quiara Alegria Hudes, and Jeremy McCarter, penned a companion book chronicling the musical’s journey from its beginnings, to its Broadway success, and finally the film adaptation.

The book also spotlights versions of the production, including the 2011/2012 run of the musical produced by Atlantis Theatrical and directed by Bobby Garcia, where Miranda himself flew to Manila to attend the opening weekend.

The local production starred Nyoy Volante as Usnavi, Kayla Rivera as Nina Rosario, Jackie Lou Blanco as Camila Rosario, Ima Castro as Vanessa, Tex Ordonez as Daniela, Calvin Millado as Kevin Rosario, Felix Rivera as Benny, and Jay Glorioso as Claudia.

Hardcopy and ebook versions are available for purchase online or via local bookstores like Fully Booked. It is also available as an audiobook co-narrated by the book’s authors and America Ferrera.
