Universal Pictures has released the official trailer for Wicked: For Good, the second and final installment of the two-part film adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked.

The trailer picks up where Wicked: Part One left off. It follows Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) as she embraces her growing powers and becomes a fugitive across Oz, while Glinda (Ariana Grande) faces the consequences of aligning with the Wizard’s regime.

Key scenes previewed in the trailer include Elphaba’s flight from the Emerald City, Glinda’s public image as the “Good Witch,” and tense encounters with characters like Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh) and the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum). It also offers a first listen to “No Good Deed” and “For Good,” two major numbers from the second act of the stage musical.

Directed by Jon M. Chu, Wicked: For Good continues the reimagined origin story of the witches of Oz. The cast also features Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard, and Ethan Slater as Boq.

Wicked: Part One premiered in November 2024 and concluded with Elphaba’s defiance and escape in “Defying Gravity”, setting the stage for her transformation into the figure known across Oz as the Wicked Witch of the West.

Wicked: For Good is set to open in Philippine cinemas on November 19, 2025
