WATCH: Tony Awards 2024 Performances are Now Online
The 77th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Ariana DeBose for the third consecutive year, has just concluded, with Stereophonic bagging the most wins of the evening with 5 Tony Awards, including Best Play. It also garnered the most nominations in Tony history for a play with 13.
It is followed by The Outsiders and Merrily We Roll Along, each winning 4 awards, including Best Musical and Best Revival of a Musical respectively. Appropriate, starring Sarah Paulson, who won her first Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play, won 3 awards, including Best Revival of a Play.
The awarding ceremony was aired live in the US on June 16, 2024, from 8:00 to 11:00pm ET on the CBS Television Network. You can watch performances from the Tony-nominated musicals in the videos below.
DeBose, who also served as producer for this year’s ceremony, co-choreographed the opening number.
