Netflix’s Tick, tick…BOOM! has released a full-length trailer and the release date.

The film adaption is based on the late composer Jonathan Larson’s autobiographical Off-Broadway musical of the same name. It’s a fictionalized account of his life before the success of hit musical Rent

The film is directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, making his directorial debut. It features a screenplay by Steven Levenson (Dear Evan Hansen) and choreography by Ryan Heffington.

Joining Garfield will be Alexandra Shipp, Vanessa Hudgens, Robin de Jesús, Joshua Henry, MJ Rodriguez, Bradley Whitford, Tariq Trotter, and Judith Light.

Tick, tick…BOOM! will premiere on selected theatres on November 12, 2021, and will be available for streaming on Netflix on November 19, 2021.
