‘Hamilton’ remains revolutionary at this year’s Olivier Awards landing a record 13 nominations and winning seven, at par with Matilda’s 2012 record high.

The award-winning cast performed the eponymous opening song, led by Olivier winner for Best Actor in a Musical Giles Terera as the infamous Aaron Burr.

‘Hamilton’ won Best New Musical, Outstanding Achievement In Music (for both Lin-Manuel Miranda and Alex Lacamoire), Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical (Michael Jibson as King George III), and Best Sound Design (Nevin Steinberg).

Andy Blankenbuehler and Howell Binkley—who won Best Choreography and Best Lighting Design in a Musical at the 70th Tony Awards, respectively—also snagged the corresponding awards at this year’s Oliviers.

After conquering the London stage, ‘Hamilton’ is set to stage in Puerto Rico come January 2019, with Lin-Manuel Miranda reprising his titular role.

Raffy is currently in his fourth year studying Intarmed — he usually has trouble explaining it to people so instead he just says he's a second-year medical student — in the University of the Philippines - College of Medicine. He was last seen drowning in theatre and film. If found, please report to the nearest authorities. Or just treat him to someplace nice. Medical school can get really exhausting.
