WATCH: ‘Cinderella’ Musical Film Releases Teaser Trailer
Cinderella, the upcoming Amazon Prime Video musical film starring Camila Cabello in the titular role, has finally settled on an official release date. It is coming to our screens on September 3, 2021.
It was originally set to be released by Sony in US cinemas last February 5, 2021, and was later moved to July 16, 2021, but due to the ongoing pandemic, it has been recently sold to the streaming platform.
The film is written and directed by Kay Cannon based on the fairy tale of the same name, with Cabello and Menzel providing music for the film. Joining Cabello in the cast are Billy Porter as the Fairy Godmother, Idina Menzel as the Stepmother, Minnie Driver as Queen Beatrice, Pierce Brosnan as King Rowan, Maddie Baillio and Charlotte Spencer as the Stepsisters, Nicholas Galitzine as the Prince, and James Corden, John Mulaney, and Romesh Ranganathan as the Mice/Footmen.
