UA&P’s Dulaang ROC will stage the one-act play Alikabok sa Kusina, written by Dr. Joachim Emilio Antonio, an eight-time Palanca Award-winning playwright and Associate Professor at the university, as the organization’s season opener.

Directed by Patricia Villacorta, a former president and alumna of Dulaang ROC, Alikabok sa Kusina tells the story of two lifelong friends who find themselves confronting a challenging situation. This encounter triggers unresolved emotional baggage, pushing them to make difficult decisions about their friendship. Nico Punzalan will be playing the role of Rick, while Elise Suarez will be playing the role of Claire.

The play will run from September 18 to 21 at Telengtan Hall, 5th Floor, APEC Communications Building, UA&P. Ticket prices are P250, P200 for UA&P students, faculty, and alumni, P150 for UA&P scholars, and P100 for UA&P freshmen.

Tickets are available through the organization’s Google form.
