Theater Practitioners Invited to Join TAG PH
Professional theater actors have until February 29, 2024, to join the Philippine Theater Actors Guild, Inc. (TAG PH) as its bi-annual membership drive concludes its initial phase in time for its 2024 Annual Meeting of Members of March 10, 2024. The second membership drive for the year commences on May 1, 2024.
This 2024, TAG PH remains steadfast in its commitment to its Purpose Statement: “We champion the professional value of the Philippine Theater Actor.”
Embracing a holistic approach, the group’s fundraising initiatives, termed FUNding Drives, play a pivotal role in securing financial support, allowing TAG PH to sustain operations and execute impactful projects. These include exclusive Master Classes and Workshops designed to foster skill development, creativity, and the nurturing of emerging talents.
Moreover, a robust focus on Actor’s Protection ensures the well-being and rights of performers through productive engagements with organizations such as the Philippine Legitimate Stage Artists Group (Philstage). These efforts culminate in TAG PH’s #roadto2031 goal of becoming a self-sustaining organization and the premier advocate for the development of the craft of acting and its actors, and safeguarding and advancing the rights and welfare of its general membership.
