‘The Notebook: The Musical’ Returns in February 2027

‘The Notebook: The Musical’ Returns in February 2027

Theatre Group Asia (TGA) is bringing back The Notebook: The Musical for a second run from February 4 to 21, 2027 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater, following its international premiere in Manila last September.

Directed by Nicholas Polonio, the returning production will feature Sheena Belarmino as Younger Allie, Morissette as Middle Allie, and Celeste Legaspi as Older Allie, alongside Benedix Ramos as Younger Noah, Laurence Mossman as Middle Noah, and Rody Vera as Older Noah, all reprising their roles from the original Manila run.

TGA Executive Director Chris Mohnani said the return engagement was prompted by requests from audiences who missed the initial run and those who wanted to see the production again.

“This gives audiences another opportunity to experience the sweeping romance, unforgettable music, and deeply moving story that captivated theatergoers during its initial Philippine engagement,” Mohnani said.

Based on Nicholas Sparks’ novel and its 2004 film adaptation starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, The Notebook: The Musical follows the decades-spanning love story of Allie and Noah, exploring themes of love, memory, separation, and the passage of time. The stage adaptation portrays the couple at three different stages of their lives, with separate performers portraying their younger, middle-aged, and older selves.

The musical features music and lyrics by singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson and a book by Bekah Brunstetter.

The creative team includes associate director Jamie Wilson, choreographer JM Cabling, production designer Miguel Urbino, musical director Farley Asuncion, lighting designer Cha See, sound designer Jordana Abrenica, and hair and makeup designer Jaydee Jasa.

The return engagement will feature 18 performances, with evening shows at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and matinee and evening performances at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Presented by Ayala Land, with additional support from BPI and Philippine Airlines, tickets will go on sale exclusively through TicketWorld beginning November 16, 2026.
