The Half-Life of Marie Curie, a MusicArtes, Inc. production presented by Areté Ateneo and co-presented by the Philippine Theater Actors Guild, Inc. and the Ateneo Fine Arts Department, which previously released tickets to its opening weekend, has just announced its full run together with its ticketing details.

In addition to their August 23 (7PM) and August 24 (3PM & 7PM) opening weekend, there are now tickets available for the following dates, with the entire run consisting of only 9 shows:

August 25 (3PM & 7PM)
August 27 (7PM)
August 28 (7PM)
August 29 (7PM)
August 30 (7PM)

The two-hander, written by Lauren Gunderson, will feature performances by Missy Maramara as Marie Curie and Caisa Borromeo as her friend Hertha Ayrton. The production will be led by an artistic team consisting of Director and Set Designer Kiara Pipino, Costume Designer Bethany Marx, Lighting Designer Jethro Nibaten, Sound Designer Jessy Gardner, Projection Designer GA Fallarme, Assistant Production Designer Julia Macuja, and Technical Director Adriane Ungriano.

After a scandalous affair wrecks her reputation, Marie Curie must deal with the fact that the world at large seems to hate her — but life reminds her that she isn’t alone. With her is her friend Hertha Ayrton, and together they navigate and heal through the difficulty of being women in the scientific field, a field that doesn’t seem to want them at all.

The Half-Life of Marie Curie will be running at the Doreen Blackbox Theater in Areté Ateneo. Tickets are available for sale now at bit.ly/MarieCurieMNL2024. Regular tickets are priced at PHP 700 while discounted tickets for students, PWDs, and Senior Citizens are at PHP 560.
