We all know ‘fetch’ is never going to happen. But you know what is? The new Mean Girls musical, finally opening on April 8 on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre!

Before finally officially opening doors on Sunday, the brand-new musical comedy gets a preview montage in every shade of pink!

In the preview, Damian Hubbard (Grey Henson) and Janis Sarkisian (Barrett Wilbert Weed) belt it out in ‘Revenge Party’, where they hatch out a plan to get back at Regina George (Taylor Louderman), with the help of the new girl, Cady (Erika Henningsen). Also in the preview is a second song, ‘It Roars’, where Cady arrives on her first day in North Shore High.

The musical also stars Ashley Park as Gretchen Wieners, Kate Rockwell as Karen Smith, Kerry Butler as Mrs. Heron, Ms. Norbury, and Mrs. George, Kyle Selig as Aaron Samuels, Cheech Manohar as Kevin Gnapoor, and Rick Younger as Mr. Duvall.

The musical Mean Girls, based on the 2004 comedy (and pop culture royalty), is written by Tina Fey (who also wrote the film’s screenplay), with music from Emmy winner Jeff Richmond (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and lyrics by Tony nominee Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde). This Casey Nicholaw-helmed musical began Broadway previews on March 12.

Raffy is currently in his fourth year studying Intarmed — he usually has trouble explaining it to people so instead he just says he's a second-year medical student — in the University of the Philippines - College of Medicine. He was last seen drowning in theatre and film. If found, please report to the nearest authorities. Or just treat him to someplace nice. Medical school can get really exhausting.
