Shakespeare in the Park featuring ‘Twelfth Night’ Returns this February
Ayala Land and Make It Makati, in partnership with CAST PH (Company of Actors in Streamlined Theatre), bring back Shakespeare in the Park featuring Twelfth Night this February at Circuit Makati.
Following a limited debut run at Ayala Triangle from October 3 to 5, the production returns for another short engagement as part of Art Fair Philippines. Hosted at Circuit Makati, audiences are invited to experience a full weekend of creativity, with theater unfolding alongside exhibitions, installations, and creative activations throughout the park. The area is transformed into a vibrant cultural hub for visual art, performance, and community gathering.
Performances take place on February 7 at 5:00 PM, and February 8 at 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Circuit Park, Makati (across Shopwise and Circuit Corporate: Circuit Park, Makati Center).
Twelfth Night is a story of love, disguise, and mistaken identity, filled with wit, laughter, and unexpected turns. This abridged version, directed by Nelsito Gomez, features performances by Teia Contreras, Cholo Ledesma, Jillian Ita-as, Altair Alonso, Cathy Azanza-Dy, Tarek El Tayech, Dean Daniel Rosen, and Miguel Salaya.
“We are excited to collaborate and partner with CAST PH and talented artists Nelsito Gomez and Sarah Facuri in what we hope to be an annual offering in Makati. As part of our vision, we want to make art accessible to all, integrated into the very fabric of the city,” said Christopher Mohnani, Director of Arts and Culture for Makati Estates. “By bringing Shakespeare in the Park to Circuit during Art Fair Philippines, we are creating a shared cultural moment that celebrates creativity in many forms. What a perfect way to usher in Arts Month for the Creative District of Makati”
“We’re honored to be collaborating again with Mr. Mohnani, Ayala Land, and Make It Makati,” adds Nelsito Gomez, Artistic Director of CAST PH. “We didn’t expect the positive response to Twelfth Night, and we’re glad to be bringing it back in time for Art Fair Philippines. We hope it will be an even merrier and festive experience!”
Admission is free, with donations welcome, inviting both Art Fair Philippines visitors and theater lovers to experience Shakespeare in an open-air setting.
